Getting Festive with PEPPADEW®

The end of the year has arrived, and with it comes the highly anticipated season of family, fun and – of course – food! PEPPADEW®, the brand known for its universally-loved Sweet Piquanté Peppers, has developed 12 festive recipes, each a suitably bright and delicious addition to your Christmas table.

The PEPPADEW® range includes both the little red peppers we all know and love, as well as pickled jalapeño variants for those who like it hot, mango and vegetable atchars, pickled onions, a selection of pasta sauces and, to top it all off, an array of relishes and Splash-on™ sauces. The products can be incorporated into everything from pizza, pasta and burgers to salads, dips, meat dishes and baked goods.

“PEPPADEW® Sweet Piquanté Peppers add a festive pop of red to any dish – chopped, whole or sliced, these dynamic little fruits add spectacular flavour and aesthetic value to your cooking,” says Chef Martin Kobald, Vice President of the World Association of Chefs Societies, who developed the recipes with the traditional Christmas table in mind.

For starters, why not treat your guests to some delicious chicken wings – done two ways – and served with a creamy blue cheese sauce? Stuffed with a mixture of chicken mince, chilli, PEPPADEW® Sweet Piquanté Peppers, cream cheese, blue cheese, breadcrumbs and parsley, the winglet portions are a real treat, while the oven-baked drumettes make for a scrumptious dipping finger food.

Mince pies remain a festive season crowd-pleaser, often enjoyed throughout Christmas lunch (and a few weeks before that, too!) If you haven’t considered making your own mince pies, perhaps now is the time to do so. Easily customisable to your preferences, these traditional snacks are a sure-fire way of getting into the festive spirit, especially when you add a little PEPPADEW® magic.

The collection of PEPPADEW® festive season recipes include fresh takes on loaded salads and coleslaw, roasted pork belly, gammon and turkey, gravies and sauces, as well as delectable puddings, cakes and pavlovas.
